Where is this coming from?

With Andrew's rapidly expanding vocabulary, we have started to notice a cute, but somewhat strange accent to his speech. He is putting two syllables in words that should only have one, such as 'ba - yack' for 'back', and 'ba - yath' for 'bath.  My favorite quote of his "I knock-a day-own!" when he knocks down his toys. Having a toddler who is learning words really makes you pay attention to what you are saying, and how you are saying it. And I will admit that this strange accent may be coming from me. There's a little bit of Kansas in me still. :)
